10-31-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

October 31, 2017
Brothers and sisters: I consider that the sufferings of this present time are as nothing compared with the glory to be revealed for us. . . .  For in hope we were saved. Now hope that sees for itself is not hope.  For who hopes for what one sees?  But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait with endurance.  Rom_8:18-25

As we enter this week, with the upcoming celebrations of All Saints and All Souls, we reflect on our mortality and immortality in Christ.  For in Christ Jesus, we will not die but have life eternal.

This is our hope and this is God’s promise, through Jesus Christ, our Lord.  So what then is this suffering we must endure until our reunion with Jesus?  It is nothing compared to the Glory we are to receive.  So, bear with patient endurance, beloved, all the sufferings of the now.  And when we are glorified, we will understand the frivolity of it all.

And we will be at peace forever!

No tricks and all Treat!
