12-11-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 11, 2017
Say to those whose hearts are frightened: Be strong, fear not! Here is your God, he comes with vindication;  With divine recompense he comes to save you.   Is_35:1-10

Just watched a 2017 movie called, “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets.”  Why is it that in movies with all these alien species, the good guys, the understanding ones, the wise, the peaceful ones are most often not the humans?  And yet this movie does show that there are good hearts in some or many of us.  I really thought it was quite a beautiful movie.  And the vindication, the recompense and the love all made their way to making it so.  Wouldn’t it be nice if one day we too could BE those wise, peaceful, understanding, good guys!!  Keep God, keep Jesus in your focus, beloved, and one day we WILL be walking that “highway” to heaven!  And there, it will be just like the paradise of these movies – and even better!

. . . A highway will be there, called the holy way; No one unclean may pass over it, nor fools go astray on it.  No lion will be there, nor beast of prey go up to be met upon it. It is for those with a journey to make, and on it the redeemed will walk.  ibid

Enjoy the Journey, beloved!
And focus on the LOVE!
