12-20-17 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

December 20, 2017
Isaiah said to Ahaz, the King of Judah: “Listen, O house of David! Is it not enough for you to weary men, must you also weary my God?  Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign: the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel.”  Is_7:10-14

Emmanuel, God with us!  Throughout all of salvation history, God has been with us!  We may have forgotten Him.  We may have dispelled Him.  But He has never left us!  And His desire to be with and help us was so strong that he became incarnate to show us that love, to teach us how to love and to ultimately offer us the gift of eternal life – if we so choose to accept it, to accept Him!

Choose Jesus, beloved!
Our sign of the pinnacle of love!
