02-12-18 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

February 12, 2018
The Pharisees came forward and began to argue with Jesus, seeking from him a sign from heaven to test him.   Mk_8:11-13

A man was standing in the middle of his field, his face to the wind, when suddenly his hat was whisked away by a strong gust.  The man yelled into the gale, “Prove to me that you are the wind.”  And the wind thought to itself, “How stupid could these people really be?”

It takes all kinds, beloved!  You see, sometimes the answers are beating us over the head, before we even ask the questions.

James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the dispersion, greetings.  Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.  Jas_1:1-11

And the perseverance is – continuing to share our faith, even in the midst of blindness, hatred and stupidity.  Keep on praying for the strength of the Holy Spirit, beloved, and the Holy Spirit will guide you in perseverance to reach your eternal reward!

Blessed be God forever!
