03-15-18 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 15, 2018
In continuation of His discourse with the Jews from yesterday’s reading, Jesus said, “I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me; yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him.  How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?”  Jn_5:31-47

When logic, physical proof and the testimony of others cannot convince one of the Truth of the matter.  Then there is not much hope left for that one to ever be saved.  Salvation begins with belief in our own hearts.  And God wants nothing less than every one of us to be saved.  God Himself said of Jesus, “Listen to Him!”  It’s really not that hard, beloved.  All we have to do is start disconnecting from all the other untruths that bombard us from the time we awake until we lay our heads down for rest.  Then God will fill in the space.  Love will fill in the space.  And love will lead us directly to that Eternal Salvation we so desire, and God so desires!
