(Guardian Angels)
Jesus said to His disciples, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven.  Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.  And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me.  “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.”   Mt_18:1-5,10

HUMBLE!  Are we humble enough, beloved, to believe that it truly is not us alone who do all the great things of the world?  Without our guardian angels, we would be nothing.  We would be less than nothing.  But with the power given us by the Holy Spirit and in cooperation with God’s guardians, always there to help us to guide us and protect us, we can be exactly what Jesus wants us to be – His humble servants.  Servants, not only for God, but for one another.  When we can learn to be dependent on God and our Guardian Angels, just like a child is upon their parents, we WILL be the greatest in God’s Kingdom – well, beside God, of course!
