11-15-18 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 15, 2018
(St. Albert the Great, Bishop and Doctor of the Church)
Asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, Jesus said in reply, “The coming of the Kingdom of God cannot be observed, and no one will announce, ‘Look, here it is,’ or, ‘There it is.’  For behold, the Kingdom of God is among you.” Lk_17:20-25

Yes, beloved, the Kingdom of God is within our own hearts, when we allow the Holy Spirit to dwell with us.  And how do we do that?  We must let go of all else that might be holding our soul captive.  All of those things and people we tend to worship instead of God.  Let them go and let the Holy Spirit take their place.  He will lead us to Jesus.  And Jesus will lead us to His Father!  The Kingdom of God is all around us.  All we need to do is recognize Him and her!
