03-21-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 21, 2019
Jesus told the Pharisees a parable about heaven and hell, about an impenetrable barrier between the two, and how nothing can convince the stubborn blind that light is just a “faith’s blink” away.  It was a direct assault on those same characteristics of the Pharisees.  And we can see that same stubborn blindness all around us today.  If they can’t even understand common sense, how could we possibly teach them about the supernatural, for our God is both!

Jesus said, “If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.”   Lk_16:19-31

. . . which is exactly what He DID and they were still not persuaded!

But, we’ll keep on trying, beloved, just because we don’t want to see ANYONE have to endure that kind of suffering, even our worst enemies!
