04-03-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 3, 2019
Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me; my Lord has forgotten me.”  Can a mother forget her infant, be without tenderness for the child of her womb? Even should she forget, I will never forget you. Is_49:8-15

In all of our distress, in all of our loneliness, in all of our hopelessness and even in our sinfulness, know this, beloved, God will never and has never forgotten us!  His love is even greater than the love of a mother for her own flesh and blood children.

Jesus tells us, “I am the resurrection and the life,” says the Lord; “whoever believes in me will never die.”  Jn_11:25a,26

A love so great that God not only came to live among us (as Jesus), but He suffered and died just for YOU and me (in total obedience to the will of His Father).  Believe!  And all else in this world will simply be trivia!
