04-11-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 11, 2019
(St. Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr)
When Abram prostrated himself, God spoke to him . . .  Gn_17:3-9

You know what, beloved, sometimes it takes a little humility, a little reverence and a little prayer to hear God.  It’s not always easy to get “ourselves” out-of-the-way.  All the screaming.  All the tasks yet to be done.  All the worry and fear and hope.  Maybe it’s time to suck up some dirt, prostrate ourselves and LISTEN.  You’ll know His voice, because it is the one that has nothing to do with YOU!

(As an interesting aside, here’s what Google had to say about our date 411 – “If you keep seeing 411, it only means that your angels are trying to communicate something important to you.“)

Well, there you go!
