04-21-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

April 21, 2019
(Easter Sunday, Resurrection of the Lord)
Brothers and sisters:  If then you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth.  For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.  Col_3:1-4

NOT WHAT IS OF EARTH!

Maybe not easy beloved.  But what Jesus did, himself, was not easy either.  And yet, it was done for us!  So what are we willing to do for Him?  Is giving up a temporary little of “what is of earth” so hard to gain an eternity of what is of Heaven?  It certainly is worth it, beloved!  A very happy and blessed Easter season to you, in Christ’s love!
