(Monday of Easter Octave)
Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce the news to his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” Mt_28:8-15
Happy birthday mom! 45 years since you’ve been gone. Still miss you. Still look forward to the day when we can be together again. Jesus came back and invited His disciples back home to meet with Him. Though we’ve never seen you face to face Jesus, we look forward to seeing you for the first time and forever. So, for now we’ll just rest in the peace of knowing that you’re with us, in our hearts and in our minds, guiding us and leading us back home. We will never forget You!
