07-02-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

Jesus rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm.  Mt_8:23-27

Does your life ever feel like a storm in the middle of the sea, beloved?  How do we respond to that?  The disciples were terrified.  Yet they knew exactly where to go.  They came to Jesus and asked for His help.  And that’s a good example for all of us.  Jesus should always be our first call – even before 911.  When we rely on Jesus, beloved, no matter how stormy life may be, He will bring us calm.  It may not be the exact answer we were looking for, but in that calm the answer will be a lot easier to find!  And that we can count on!
