09-19-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

(St. Januarius, Bishop and Martyr)
There was a sinful woman in the city who learned that he (Jesus) was at table in the house of the Pharisee. Bringing an alabaster flask of ointment, she stood behind him at his feet weeping and began to bathe his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and anointed them with the ointment. . . .  Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”  Lk_7:36-50

St. Paul said, Beloved: Let no one have contempt for your youth, but set an example for those who believe, in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity.  1_Tm_4:12-16

Isn’t it interesting how our words and actions truly reveal what’s in our hearts.  Sometimes those words may be lies, but they’re easily revealed by our body language and our actions.  Sometimes there are no words, but our actions speak for themselves.  Let our words and actions always be true, beloved, and let us love as the Lord has loved us!
