11-12-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

November 12, 2019
(St. Josaphat, Bishop and Martyr)
God formed man to be imperishable; the image of his own nature he made them.  But by the envy of the Devil, death entered the world, and they who are in his possession experience it.  But the souls of the just are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them. Wis_2:23–3:9

Be among “the just,” then, beloved, and live.  Fight the good fight, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to keep the devil from ever possessing you.  And in your holiness, no torment shall ever touch (your souls).  Though your body may shrivel and decay.  Though the world may mistreat and burn your earthly tent to the ground.  YOU will always (that’s eternity) be – in the hands of your God.  Take courage and (all thanks be to Jesus) LIVE!
