03-01-20 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 1, 2020
The LORD God formed man out of the clay of the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and so man became a living being.  Gn_2:7-9;3:1-7

From the dirt and the Spirit we were created.  Thus we are composed of both, physical and spiritual natures.  And both want to return to their sources.  And connecting both are our souls and our bodies.  And in control of it all is our mind.  Our mind has the ability to choose which nature wins.

Yes, our bodies are the temples of our spirits.  But our minds can allow our lives to be driven back into the source of our physical, the dirt.  Or those same lives can be allowed to rise in spirit back unto its source, God!

Which do you choose, beloved?  Will it be dirt or glory?  Will it be Satan or Jesus.  Will it be eternal death or eternal life.

As for me and my household, we will choose Life!
We will serve the Lord!  Jos 24:15
