05-30-20 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

May 30, 2020
John the Evangelist wrote, There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.  Jn_21:20-25

We could probably say that much today, about all the books that have been written concerning the things Jesus said and did and promised.  But not only books.  We can be inundated with songs and videos and movies, with shrines and Churches, and people who have dedicated their lives to loving and sharing the Love of Jesus with the world.

And this is exactly what Jesus wanted.  Not politics and more laws and more rules and social distancing and lock downs.  Jesus was all about love and justice and reason and truth.  Something sorely lacking in today’s world.  But He was also about hope!  And in the midst of all our UN-reason, we can still cling to that hope.  The hope of LOVE returning again, one day!  The Hope of Jesus!
