Jesus asked the skeptics, “Was John’s baptism of heavenly or of human origin? Answer me.” They discussed this among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘Of heavenly origin,’ he will say, ‘Then why did you not believe him?’ But shall we say, ‘Of human origin’?” they feared the crowd, for they all thought John really was a prophet. So they said to Jesus in reply, “We do not know.” Mk_11:27-33
Sometimes it takes courage (or maybe not) just to admit defeat – “We just don’t know.” So, which did come first the chicken or the egg. If we say the egg, then where did the egg come from? And if we say the chicken, well, where did the chicken come from? Well, duh, maybe there is a God!!!! Ha ha. But seriously, sometimes we just have to get to the root of the issue and not just bandaid consequences of the Truth. Jesus is the Way and the Truth and the Life. Believe!
