Jesus said, “Just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of Man be to this generation. At the judgment . . . “ Lk_11:29-32
Jonah was a sign of warning, a sign of prophesy, a sign of judgment and a sign from God of His great compassion and mercy. So Jesus is to us! “Repent, and believe in the Gospel” we hear on Ash Wednesday. There is a good reason for those words, beloved. If we want companionship with God, which He surely wants with us, then we need to recognize the areas within our lives in which we’re in need of repentance, cleans ourselves, and then we’ll see our belief in action. Action that can only lead to unity with God and one another!!! Blessed be the Name of Jesus!
