Jesus said, “whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.” Mt_5:17-19
The Pharisees were constantly complaining that Jesus was breaking the laws of Moses. And yet Jesus himself professed the importance of every commandment, even the very least of them. The problem was, that it was those same Pharisees who broke the commandments themselves. You know, beloved, sometimes we have to listen to ourselves and become very discerning of what we complain about. For it’s usually those same complaints that we are guilty of ourselves. Maybe instead of pointing fingers outward, we should be constantly looking inward to see how we can improve ourselves. I know that I’ve got a lot of improving that can be done within. Maybe instead of complaining, we should be looking for what we can praise others for, and then try to be – what we’re praising.
Happy Double Day, beloved!
6 –> 12 –> 24 !!!
Today, every praise is worth double –
in the eyes of the world, in the eyes of our hearts!
Blessed are you, who follow the Way of the Lord!
