As we approach the end of the Church’s liturgical year, the readings remind us of the second coming of Jesus at the end of earthly time. Daniel said, “As the visions during the night continued, I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.” Dn_7:2-14
So fear not, beloved. We will never lose Jesus, nor His Kingdom. Pray that He will help preserve us and our souls, so that when the end does come, we will be ready to enter that Kingdom that He promised all who LOVE Him.
