09-06-16 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

September 6, 2016
I chose you from the world, that you may go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord.   Jn_15:16 (Alleluia Verse)

Maybe they didn’t choose us for that stick-ball game.  Maybe they didn’t choose with for the soccer team.  Maybe they didn’t choose us for that favorite college.  Maybe not even for the job we so dearly wanted.  Maybe our project wasn’t chosen for the award.  Maybe we were passed up for that promotion.

BUT, God chose US, beloved, to be the very best example of endurance around, despite the rejection by the rest of the world.  We are loved by God, no matter what our degree is, no matter how poorly we play football, no matter how imperfect our project is.  God loves us no matter what!  And that’s something to rejoice over!
