Brothers and sisters: If you were raised with Christ, seek what is above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Think of what is above, not of what is on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory. Col_3:1-11
I’m not sure how many of us realize that in our Baptism we died to this wretched mortal life to live in immortality with and in Christ. As St. Paul say, “Our life is hidden with Christ in God.” That means that we no longer have to worry about mortal death. Death will just be a passing through into the remainder of eternity. And the now is simply preparation for something much, much better to come. So cheer up, beloved! We are within His Glory! Dead to sin and alive in Christ forever!
