See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are. The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 1_Jn 2:29–3:6
Jesus told His disciples that if they had seen Him, they had seen the Father. And if they know Him, they know the Father as well. If we truly want to know God, beloved, all we need do, is get to know Jesus. He is written about throughout the old and new Testaments of our Bibles. When we carry out that simple exercise of reading, we will come to know Jesus of the past, present and future; and then, we will see His love throughout our lives and in the life of every person we come in contact with. For, John tells us that, “God IS Love” and He is within everyone. Come, let’s soar with Him!
