(4th Sunday of Easter, A)
Even though I walk in the dark valley
I fear no evil; for you are at my side. Ps_23
Peter let the listening crowd know that it was THEY who were responsible for the death of Jesus. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and they asked Peter and the other apostles, “What are we to do, my brothers?” Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Acts_2:14a,36-41
By the love of God, the love of Jesus, we are ALL forgiven IF we repent and believe in Him. Even though our path may seem like a dark and endless valley, Jesus is there to guide us out and to offer us the Holy Spirit to further guide our future.
Trust in Him beloved. Let go of what’s keeping us from giving ourselves fully to Him. And then LIVE the life of fullness in and with the Holy Spirit. He’s just waiting for YOU!
