07-21-20 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

July 21, 2020
(St. Lawrence of Brindisi, Priest and Doctor of the Church)
. . . stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he (Jesus) said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.”  Mt_12:46-50

Not just the Jewish nation.  Not just the Caucasians or the Africans, the Hispanics or the Asians, the Americans or the British, the Russian or the Indian.  But Jesus is brother to us all!  Whoever does the will of our heavenly Father.  And that will is to love all, regardless of nationality, affluence, power or poverty.   We are to love everyone!  Just as Jesus loves us!
