Jesus said to the seventy-two missionary disciples, “do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Lk_10:17-24
We might think, what greater thing could there be to rejoice about than bringing God’s love, God’s Spirit, God’s healing to another person. And yet, Jesus says that for doing thus with our lives, we will surely have a place in the heaven. This is exactly what God wants of us, to bring a little bit of heaven to the world. When we place our total trust and love in Him, it simply overflows from our lives, just as it did for St. Therese of Lisieux!
