Jesus said, “How can you believe, when you accept praise from one another and do not seek the praise that comes from the only God?” Jn_5:31-47

It all starts, beloved, with knowing God.  And in knowing God we know Jesus, whom God sent to teach us how to know God.  And Jesus taught us the most important thing in life: Love of God and love of our neighbor.  When we understand this, then all the praise we receive from others is worth nothing compared to the praise we receive from God: witnessing His grace in every aspect of these lives, being saved when we don’t even expect it, finding love in the most unexpected places, loving others until it hurts.  These are all, everyday examples of God’s love for us.  And in it, nothing else in life really matters.
