Tobit’s wife Anna ran up to her son, threw her arms around him, and said to him, “Now that I have seen you again, son, I am ready to die!” And she sobbed aloud. Tb_11:5-17
Ever feel so totally absolutely fulfilled, beloved, that you are ready do die? Done it all. Seen it all. I need to see nothing more here in this life, I’m ready to die! Anna was so overwhelmed by seeing her long lost son alive and well, that she was at that point. Jesus should make us feel that way every day, beloved. I am ready – whenever you are!
