St. Paul wrote, “See to it that no one captivate you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to the tradition of men, according to the elemental powers of the world and not according to Christ. For in him dwells the whole fullness of the deity bodily, and you share in this fullness in him,” Col_2:6-15
Not the news, not the social media, not the movies, not even a good portion of all the religious hype we hear should “seduce” us. Only Christ in us, only His Word, His life and our lives according to those designs are what should captivate us. How can we be more like Him in prayer, in action, in love? This is what we should always be striving for, beloved. His “fullness!”
