In Jesus’ prayer to His Father before His passion, He said, “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for the ones you have given me, because they are yours, and everything of mine is yours and everything of yours is mine, and I have been glorified in them.” Jn_17:1-11a
He was aware of the hardships His disciples and we would face in proclaiming His Gospel. And He prayed for their strength. He prayed for our courage. And He prayed for the Glory of Himself within us. Jesus is there, beloved. Keep the faith. The Holy Spirit will strengthen us against all opposition. And we will be His for eternity. Believe!
