01-31-19 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

January 31, 2019
(St. John Bosco, Priest)
Jesus said, “The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you, and still more will be given to you.”  Mk_4:21-25

That’s a pretty heavy statement, beloved, when we really ponder it!  It’s kind of like the “forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us” from the Lord’s Prayer.  It really makes us think twice when we dish out the dirt instead of the cake!  Jesus wants us to be offering EVERYONE the cake and not the dirt, because whatever we dish out will just be dished back to us (in even greater abundance)!  And I believe that Jesus would be much more pleased with us being fat and happy than down and dirty!

May our loving God bless us with the wisdom, patience and joy of giving – in love!

Oh, and a very HAPPY Birthday to our awesome daughter, Dr. Christie, today!  God bless you always, sweetheart!
