03-14-22 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 14, 2022
Jesus said to his disciples: “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. “Stop judging and you will not be judged. Stop condemning and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.” Lk_6:36-38

We all know, in a perfect world, this surely would be nice.  But we don’t live in a perfect world and we know that even if we are merciful, non-judgmental and non-condemning, we may likely be slighted, judged and condemned ourselves – in our innocence, just as Jesus was.  But the point is, that its got to start somewhere.  And that somewhere is us.  When we can set the example of righteousness, there is a possibility that others may witness it and be a little less filled with revenge, judgment and condemnation themselves.  And they might then influence others as well. And little by little the world could change.  It is a place to start – and that place is in our own heads and hearts!  God knows all we do!  And everything COUNTS!
