03-07-18 Catholic Daily Mass Quotes

March 7, 2018
(Ss. Perpetua and Felicity, Martyrs)
Moses said, “what great nation has statutes and decrees that are as just as this whole law which I am setting before you today?  “However, take care and be earnestly on your guard not to forget the things which your own eyes have seen, nor let them slip from your memory as long as you live, but teach them to your children and to your children’s children.”  Dt_4:1,5-9

Jesus said to his His disciples, “whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the Kingdom of heaven.  But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”  Mt_5:17-19

“. . . but without the Lord, there is no ____”

The heart may beat, but without the Lord there is no heart.

The sun may shine, but without the Lord there is no sun.

The job may pay, but without the Lord there is no job.

The mind may create, but without the Creator there is no creation, and without creation there is no mind.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul, with all your strength and all your mind, because without the Lord there is nothing!

And with Him, you can be called “greatest” in His kingdom, where you and He will become ONE!
